Trash Collection Schedule

Currently Heatherwood trash is collected on Tuesday each week except for certain holidays.

From the Washington Twp Website

"Collection of trash and recyclables is done by an outside contractor. Therefore, the holiday collection schedule is observed only on their observed holidays not the Township’s holidays. Collection will take place one day after the observed holiday for: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas."

Good Advice!

A suggestion was made by one of our residents that it would be helpful if all homeowners put their house street address (at least house number) on trash cans and lids so they can be returned to the owner when necessary.  A sticker with your address or a permanent magic marker both work pretty well.
